"with stunning honesty."

A proud descendant of Cornish tin miners and Dutch settlers, a lover of milk, and life-long advocate for "girls who don't like to be rushed."

I am a rareity - a female, late-start professional dancer and personal trainer with a unique view on life.

My thoughts on dance come from a belief that humans are mind-body-soul systems on a life-long search to understand themselves. I focus on raising awareness of anatomy, energetic law, and self-talk as tools for freedom.

Sprinkle in many years of color guard, studying physics, strength training, yoga, swimming, and playing clarinet music, a formal training in modern, contemporary, ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop dance styles. Oh and I also have an extra side career as a personal trainer and stretch specilaist where I have a book of 60+ one-on-one clients that I teach to lift weights. Plus I lead a team of stretch specilaists and help train them how to effecively stretch their clients, make sales, set personal goals, and build a more postive relationship to money. But just on the side, ya know.

Back to the main point here - why do I dance? Honestly, to feel alive. Movement is how I experience the full range of being human. It humbles me, electrifies me, and connections me to...maybe everything?

In all of my work, my mission is to help others reconnect with their own human nature: to want things, to be seen trying, and to fully savor the feeling of doing something hard—and doing it well.
